At Hydro Aesthetics , we are committed to protecting your privacy and information securely.

We aim to process information about you fairly and in a transparent manner and the aim of this document is to provide you with sufficient information for you to be able to understand what we are doing with your data.

At Hydro Aesthetics personal data is gathered from patients following a consultation. The information that patients have supplied will be recorded on a Consultation treatment consent form. The data collected contains information such as full name, Date of Birth, Address, Telephone number, email, GP details, past medical history, Current health status, medication list and previous aesthetic treatments. If following the consultation a consent was obtained for treatment then the information gathered also details the procedure, including the product used, the dose, route of treatment, facial injection information, before and after pictures and your signature to consent to treatment.

Data will be stored in individual files, in a locked filing cabinet, in a locked and secure clinic at Hydro Aesthetics. Data will be stored for a minimum of 10 years.

However, some information sharing will be necessary for Hydro Aesthetics to be able to provide you with a service. For example; information shared in a prescription. Without consent treatment cannot be provided.

We cannot guarantee the security of any data you choose to send to us over the internet. Our website is however hosted on a secure server with SSL security. This is indicated by the padlock symbol in the address bar of your browser where you can view the relevant security certificate.

It may be required to disclose your information to any of our suppliers necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. For instance, information shared in a prescription.

If you are unsure of how we are handling information about you or you think we could improve our privacy information please contact Hydro Aesthetics. As a patient you have a right to request a copy of your personal data held at Hydro Aesthetics. A reasonable Administration fee may be charged to cover costs and we may require identification from you before doing so. We will endeavour to provide the information within 48 working hours..

You have the right to pass this information on to another party or take the opportunity to correct any inaccuracies.

Deleting your personal data

Patients who provide the information requested are providing explicit consent, but you have the right to withdraw consent at any time. To do so please email sue@hydroaesthetics.co.uk. Please note if you request to withdraw consent, all your personal data will be erased other than that which may be required to enable us to establish, exercise and defend legal claims. It should be made clear that medical records of treatments received cannot be erased and will be retained as required by professional bodies and insurers.

Updating Your Personal Data

You can and should instruct us to correct or update any personal information we hold about you e.g. if you change your name or address for instance.

You can instruct us to do this at any time by contacting us.

We may process your personal information to fulfil any contractual obligations we may have when you place an order with us.
